STRATO was born out of the idea that a universal product such as pistachio was underrepresented in the world of spirits and mixology. And when they were, it was usually under the form of very sweet creamy liqueurs.

STRATO takes the opposite view and plays on the subtle and fresh notes of pistachios.

Talking about this fruit, STRATO only uses the best there is: Sicilian pistachios.

In Sicily, they call it the green gold. It grows on the hills of the island's stratovolcanoes (hence STRATO), and its rich mineral soils enable to grow the most beautiful pistachios. In fact, the Pistacchio verde di Bronte benefits from a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) since 2010.

STRATO is all about this contrast between the sweet, fresh and inviting light green colour, and the rough and mineral aspect of volcano landscapes. It translates in the design of the bottle, and its identity, offbeat but elegant.
